piffero (Italian double reed with conical bore)

Description
For the small flute used with drum, see fife.
Often accompanied by accordions or bagpipes such as zampogna or müsa, it has 8-9 holes and a conical bore. In Sicily there was a larger bass version named bifora or pifara.
